Job Overview

This is a critical leadership role where you will ensure excellence across safety, operational performance and people development while representing our airline within the airport environment.

The successful candidate must have the flexibility to proactively anticipate changing priorities and have a hands-on approach.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day airport operations, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences across every touchpoint, driving business growth through enhanced customer satisfaction.
  • Drive operational excellence in areas such as safety management, on-time performance, baggage handling and contingency planning.
  • Inspire, mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
  • Manage suppliers, ensuring contract compliance and high service standards, delivering value for money.
  • Maintain strong relationships with authorities, industry partners and stakeholders, promoting effective partnerships.
  • Lead crisis and disruption management plans, ensuring operational continuity and care for our customers.
  • Partner with regional and head office teams to deliver company-wide initiatives and local improvement projects, driving innovation and change.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' airport operations/customer service experience, including 2+ years in management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of airport regulations and safety standards, ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Proven leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, driving results and achieving goals.
  • Candidate should have a customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Budget and supplier management experience, ensuring financial discipline and delivery.
  • A high level of professionalism and computer literacy, ensuring efficient use of technology.
