Job Description

As a Clinical Informatics Facilitator, you will lead the development of capabilities related to the integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) PowerChart for all staff. This includes promoting a culture of learning in the clinical environment.

You will be responsible for leading, designing and coordinating ieMR optimization and system changes via operational, Metro North and state-wide governance bodies.

This involves implementing, adopting and evaluating ieMR optimization and system changes.

  • Critically appraise the digital capability of the workforce and develop initiatives to promote the adoption of optimal ieMR workflows.
  • Provide expert-level advice and advocacy to strategic and operational planning to build digital capacity, improving quality and safety of care delivery.
  • Review and contribute to relevant local policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Utilize advanced interpersonal and communication skills within a multi-disciplinary environment to provide digital support and facilitate behavior change for clinical staff using the ieMR.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as is excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A high level of autonomy and self-motivation is required, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent organizational and time management skills are also necessary, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
