Job Title: Social Media Strategist

About the Role:

This dynamic role involves crafting innovative strategies and campaigns to elevate health outcomes for consumers within Queensland's healthcare system.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Content Creation: Research, write and disseminate high-quality content supported by market research to drive positive behavior change across diverse health topics.
  • Digital Output Development: Develop and implement social and digital media outputs on platforms such as podcasts, electronic direct mail, short-form videos and various social media channels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and sustain relationships with clients across Queensland Health, Health and Hospital Services (HHSs) and key stakeholders within the health sector.
  • Expert Advice: Provide expert advice on social and digital media strategy and delivery.
Key Requirements:
  • Project Experience: Proven experience in executing substantial or intricate communication, media or engagement projects.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Contemporary knowledge of social and digital media platforms and products.
  • Project Management: Adept project management skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Sound analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
