Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations in Park Ridge, Australia. The role involves ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and adherence to safety protocols.

This is a full-time position with the following key responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff activities, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping operations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Implement and enforce warehouse safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to ensure seamless operations
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, orders, or shipments in a timely manner
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and inventory management, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse environment
