Inventory Management Specialist

Job Description:

The Inventory Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stockroom and sales floor. This position is responsible for overseeing inventory levels, streamlining stock movement, and minimizing stock loss.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the daily priorities for stock to floor and delivery processing
  • Manage stock deliveries to achieve a door to floor period of 24 hours
  • Optimize the back of house layout for efficiency and ease of access to bestsellers
  • Assist with stock loss management and procedures
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members to enhance performance

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role within a high turnover retailer
  • Experience in inventory management is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work toward tight deadlines without compromising on output
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word etc.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and priorities
