A leading financial services organisation seeks a seasoned professional to drive strategic initiatives and strengthen operational resilience.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of key strategic uncertainties and operational vulnerabilities. This will involve developing and implementing specialised risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to address financial crime, fraud, data, and privacy risks in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial crime, fraud, data, and privacy risks across the organisation">
  • Develop and maintain high-quality and informative reporting for Boards/Board Committees and the Group Executive">
  • Drive the effective operationalisation of specialist risk frameworks and policies into the business">
  • Support the development and implementation of strategies to detect, prevent, and respond to financial crime, fraud, data, and privacy incidents">
  • Oversee financial crime and fraud detection systems, tools, and data analytics to proactively identify money laundering and other financial crime activity">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Professional qualifications in risk and compliance with a minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in risk management and compliance">
  • In-depth experience across financial crime, fraud, data, and privacy risk categories (preferably within the financial services sector)">
  • Specialist qualifications in financial crime, fraud, data, and privacy and risk management (ACAMS qualification favourably considered)">
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated">
