Midwifery Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Midwifery Professional to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Midwife to join our dynamic Post-Natal ward team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and their families.

  • Deliver evidence-based midwifery care and services according to best practice guidelines and hospital policies
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Supervise and direct midwifery/nursing staff to promote patient safety and quality care
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients and their families to support informed decision-making and improved outcomes

The ideal candidate will have current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA and proven experience in a similar role. Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills, are essential for this position.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have opportunities to upskill and develop your career in a supportive environment. You will work across the Birth Unit and Special Care Nursery on a rotational basis, with the flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.

Key Requirements
  • Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Special Care Nursery experience advantageous
  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
