Clinical Specialist in Midwifery Care

This is an exceptional opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care as a Clinical Midwifery Specialist.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be working in a state-of-the-art maternity unit, providing specialized care to patients and collaborating with a supportive team of nurses, medical professionals, and clinical support staff under the guidance of the Midwifery Unit Manager.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant midwifery qualification and registration with the relevant professional body
  • Recent experience in midwifery
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated risk management and OH&S knowledge
  • The ability to review and implement continuous improvement programs
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues

You will also require:

  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Understanding of scope of practice
  • Ability to manage designated portfolio and display sound leadership skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in accreditation processes, clinical indicators, and other quality projects
