Clinical Specialist in Midwifery Care
This is an exceptional opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care as a Clinical Midwifery Specialist.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be working in a state-of-the-art maternity unit, providing specialized care to patients and collaborating with a supportive team of nurses, medical professionals, and clinical support staff under the guidance of the Midwifery Unit Manager.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A relevant midwifery qualification and registration with the relevant professional body
- Recent experience in midwifery
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated risk management and OH&S knowledge
- The ability to review and implement continuous improvement programs
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues
You will also require:
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Understanding of scope of practice
- Ability to manage designated portfolio and display sound leadership skills
- Demonstrated knowledge/experience in accreditation processes, clinical indicators, and other quality projects
