We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic birth suite team as a Midwifery Care Specialist. This key role requires providing evidence-based midwifery care and delivering exceptional patient experience to women and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality midwifery care and support the needs of mothers and their families
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination
- Supervise and direct midwifery/nursing team members to deliver patient care
- Provide education and support to mothers and their families on various pregnancy-related topics
- Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in Special Care Nursery
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
