The Role

As a Hydrologist, you will undertake technical hydrology studies, monitoring and reporting in support of investigations, approvals, compliance and R&D.

Responsibilities

- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model our values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
- Undertake technical assessments and support the business with Subject Matter Expertise in hydrology.
- Conduct GIS based hydrological processing, statistics and mapping.
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments and management plans.
- Manage external consultants, suppliers and contractors as required.

About You

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

Job Requirements

- Degree in a Water related engineering or science discipline (Water, Water Resources, Civil, Environment, Agronomic or similar).
- Experience in mining or resources industry.
- Experience with irrigation, agronomy, or surface water drainage related issues.
- Experience with Tuflow and ArcGIS / ArcGIS Pro / QGIS software packages.
- Proven ability to undertake complex investigations and technical reporting.
