Water Resources Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Specialist to join our team. This role will involve leading and delivering hydrology and water resource projects for a diverse client base.

  • Lead and deliver hydrology and water resource projects.

  • Undertake hydrologic and hydraulic assessments, modelling, and data analysis.

  • Support flood risk, water quality, and catchment management studies.

  • Provide technical input into environmental approvals and strategy.

  • Mentor and develop junior team members, building internal capability.

  • Contribute to business development through proposals, bids, and client engagement.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Hydrology, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • At least 9–12 years' experience in hydrology and water resource management.

  • Strong technical skills in hydrologic/hydraulic modelling and GIS tools.

  • Proven project management and client relationship-building skills.

  • Experience preparing high-quality technical reports and proposals.

  • A passion for mentoring staff and contributing to the growth of the team.
