About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Water Resource Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in shaping and delivering high-profile water projects while mentoring junior staff and helping drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and deliver hydrology and water resource projects for a diverse client base.
  2. Undertake hydrologic and hydraulic assessments modeling and data analysis.
  3. Support flood risk water quality and catchment management studies.
  4. Provide technical input into environmental approvals and strategy.
  5. Mentor and develop junior team members building internal capability.
  6. Contribute to business development through proposals bids and client engagement.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Hydrology Environmental Engineering Water Resources or a related discipline.
  • At least 9–12 years' experience in hydrology and water resource management.
  • Strong technical skills in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and GIS tools.
  • Proven project management and client relationship-building skills.
  • Experience preparing high-quality technical reports and proposals.
  • A passion for mentoring staff and contributing to the growth of the team.
