Opportunity to Lead Manufacturing Operations

The primary packaging site in Heathwood QLD has an opportunity for an experienced and driven leader to manage daily production, oversee a team of 70 with 9 direct reports, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of production and maintenance activities.
  • Manage daily production to meet throughput, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Control forecasts and inventory to optimise resource use.
  • Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance programs.
  • Plan and deliver minor engineering projects.
  • Maintain product quality and lead responses to quality issues.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high performing, engaged team.
