Business Development Executive - Mergers and Acquisitions

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive to join our Mergers and Acquisitions advisory team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive transaction execution across sell-side, buy-side, origination, capital raising, and strategic review deals.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders through clear and persuasive communication of deal proposals and structures.
  • Collaborate and project manage multidisciplinary teams including legal, tax, and transaction services to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to support deal flow and the origination of further M&A activities.
  • Assist in business development and proposal preparation alongside senior team members.
  • Draft and review key marketing materials such as Teasers, Information Memoranda, Management Presentations, Process Letters, and Term Sheets.
  • Conduct financial analysis and build robust financial models to support transaction decisions.

As a Business Development Executive in our M&A advisory team, you will have the opportunity to work with leading organisations and cutting-edge technology that challenge and expand your expertise.

You will be responsible for delivering practical, innovative solutions across the deal lifecycle from origination and evaluation to execution, integration, and value realisation.

Requirements:
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of corporate finance and M&A advisory, backed by transaction experience from investment banks, boutique firms, Big Four consultancies, corporate finance, or law firms.
  • Proven capability to build integrated financial models for valuation, cash flow, and other financial analyses.
  • Solid business acumen and the ability to support complex deal processes effectively.
  • Excellent organisational, project management, and multi-tasking skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Demonstrated integrity and a people-first approach in the workplace.
  • Bachelor of Commerce, Business, or related degree; advanced qualifications such as a Masters of Applied Finance, CFA, or CA are desirable.
