Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Professional

This is a role that involves overseeing multiple projects, managing staff in a small cohesive team, and reporting directly to the leadership team.

You will have the opportunity to influence a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions projects with differing levels of complexity for various client types across a wide range of industries.

  • Lead advisory - end to end mergers and acquisitions and lead IPO execution;
  • Work across sell-side, buy-side, capital raising (debt and equity) and strategic advice;
  • Take ownership of deliverables and complete them effectively in the timeframes required;
  • Manage, develop and work collaboratively with junior members of the team;
  • Build and manage client and stakeholder relationships;
  • Assist with deal origination and the preparation of proposals, engagements and pitch documents.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Degree in Business, Commerce, Law, or Economics;
  • 3–5 years' experience in mergers and acquisitions within a top-tier/mid-tier accounting firm, investment bank, or boutique advisory;
  • Proven experience managing multiple mergers and acquisitions projects from inception to completion;
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and critical thinking skills;
  • Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder management abilities;
  • High attention to detail and strong ethical standards;
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development experience;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
