This is a unique opportunity to work across all aspects of racecourse maintenance.
- Maintenance tasks include mowing, brush cutting, and garden care.
- Responsibilities also involve operating water trucks and tractors for horse walk maintenance.
- Additionally, you will assist with running rail moves and general repairs.
- On race days, your role will involve assisting with racecourse infrastructure projects.
As a Track and Grounds Assistant, you will work independently and take ownership of your tasks while being part of a larger team that shares a passion for racing.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, brush cutting, and garden care.
- Operate water trucks and tractors for horse walk maintenance.
- Assist with running rail moves and general repairs.
- Contribute to racecourse infrastructure projects on race days.
You will enjoy a consistent schedule and be part of a dedicated team that makes racing happen.
Requirements:- Ability to lift heavy objects and move without restriction.
- Operate various types of equipment safely and effectively.
- Own transport and hold a valid car license.
- Current First Aid & CPR qualifications are highly desirable.
