The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and managing turf staff, with extensive knowledge of Bentgrass greens and Santa Ana fairways. They will be responsible for the daily maintenance, presentation, and future development of the golf course.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of all golf course maintenance operations.
- Monitor and manage plant health, including turfgrass and native vegetation, identifying pest, disease, or nutrient issues.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of turf professionals to ensure daily tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Uphold and improve course presentation and playability across all surfaces year-round.
- Certificate IV in Sports Turf Management (or equivalent).
- Proven experience leading and managing turf staff.
- Extensive knowledge of Bentgrass greens and Santa Ana fairways.
- Experience working with native vegetation.
- Strong understanding of golf and course presentation standards.
This is a full-time, permanent position with weekend work required as part of a rotating roster. A competitive remuneration package is on offer, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
