Job Overview

A part-time role exists to present racing facilities and tracks at a harness racing venue.

This opportunity would be best suited to an individual who could reside onsite, with affordable accommodation provided.

The venue hosts approximately 25 race meetings annually, utilizing state-of-the-art on-course stabling and training facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining tracks for racing, trials, and training sessions.
  • Clean and maintain common areas and equipment within the training centre.
  • General repairs and upkeep.
  • Grounds-keeping, including mowing and gardening tasks.
  • Maintenance of regular vehicle and machinery equipment maintenance programs.
  • Adherence to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in the racing sector.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills for harmonious team participation.
  • Experience operating plant and machinery, including tractors, mowers, vehicles, and agricultural implements.
  • Desirable: qualification cards in Front End Loader, Backhoe Operation.
  • Valid Victorian driver's license.
