About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Training and Development Advisor to join Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, a leading provider of primary health care services to Aboriginal people.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Training and Development Manager to develop learning pathways, workforce development strategies, and succession planning initiatives that support the growth and success of our team.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the professional development of our staff and make a positive impact on the health outcomes of Aboriginal people living in Alice Springs and surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff
  • Collaborate with the Training and Development Manager to design and deliver learning pathways that meet the needs of our team
  • Contribute to the development of succession planning initiatives to ensure the long-term sustainability of our organization
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to support their career development and growth

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in adult education, training, or a related field
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality training programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to working in a culturally safe and respectful manner with Aboriginal people
