
Forecasting and Planning Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Demand Forecasts: Use historical data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts for the ANZ region.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to gather input for demand planning processes and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Monitor forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize forecast errors and optimize inventory levels.
- Technical Expertise: Technical expertise in demand planning forecasting or similar within a chemical distribution industry.
- Multi-Industry Segments Experience: Multi-industry segments experience with proven ability to manage demand forecast and planning across a region.
- Substantial Experience: Substantial experience in forecasting, demand planning methodology & strategy, data analysis, planning and reporting.
- Education & Experience: Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Regional or Multi-Country Experience: Regional or multi-country experience, especially in the ANZ region, is highly preferred.
- Strong Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with diverse teams across the region.
- Excellent Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in demand planning software/tools.
