In the role of an Associate, you will join our Planning & Forecasting Team within Finance that's doubling down on keeping it simple.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, with a focus on trend analysis and variances to business plans.
- Assist in delivering monthly forecasts for balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other Group metrics.
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Strategy, and Treasury stakeholders to achieve collective objectives focused on insight, forecasting and delivering the yearly Plan.
- Support plan transfer activities during designated transfer windows.
- Support the annual planning process and contribute to generating insights for Board and Executive Leadership Team materials.
- Manage the financial impacts of organisational changes, validate numerical data, and address any data discrepancies.
What you'll need
- Sound numerical, financial analysis and modelling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, and work in a face-paced, dynamic environment.
- Data and business intelligence, including advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to review complex data and analyse information from multiple sources.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Degree qualified, ideally CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent).
- Substantial experience in Finance/Financial Services.
