Stormwater Engineering Expertise

This role is ideal for a seasoned and driven engineer to lead and deliver innovative stormwater management solutions across urban development, infrastructure, and local government sectors.

The successful candidate will oversee the design and delivery of stormwater drainage systems, WSUD, and OSD projects. They will also manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion within budget and to the highest quality standards.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective stormwater management strategies
  • Liaise with clients, councils, and regulatory authorities to ensure design compliance
  • Provide technical mentoring and support to junior engineers and designers
  • Prepare and review technical reports, modeling outputs, and detailed design documentation

Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in stormwater and drainage engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment
  • Proficiency in stormwater software (e.g., DRAINS, MUSIC, HECRAS, TUFLOW, Civil 3D)
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards, WSUD principles, and OSD guidelines
  • Demonstrated project management and team leadership capabilities
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
