Job Description

The Training Development Specialist is responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of training services. This includes scheduling and allocating resources, as well as continuous improvement of quality.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and coordinate training programs to ensure availability of required resources.
  • Deliver training sessions in accordance with requirements using progressive methods that instil knowledge and skills.
  • Conduct assessments in accordance with principles and designated strategy.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, teaching methods, resources, and learner assessment procedures.
  • Undertake vocational interviews to evaluate motivation and intent to pursue a desired career.
  • Provide guidance and assistance on educational and administrative issues, and maintain staff relations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, including committee meetings and implementing agreed improvements.
  • Participate in assessment moderation and validation activities to maintain alignment with industry expectations.
  • Contribute to development of training materials.
  • Maintain equipment and training aids to ensure serviceability and safety.
  • Monitor learner safety at all times.
