About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our esteemed Special Care Nursery unit. This is a Permanent Full-Time position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care for patients and newborns.
- Maintain high standards of nursing practice in a safe and supportive environment, tailored to the level of experience and education.
- Foster effective communication strategies to create a positive atmosphere for patients and their families.
- Collaborate with patients and families in decision-making processes regarding care provision.
- Flexibility to work in other wards as needed.
Essential Qualifications
- Current registration as a nurse with AHPRA.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Neonatal nursing level 2 nursery.
- Proven ability to work independently and without supervision in a Special Care Nursery setting.
- Working with Children check (if applicable).
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Adherence to ACQSHC National standards.
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Intermediate computer proficiency.
Desirable Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualifications in Neonatal nursing (or in progress).
Compensation and Benefits
Successful candidates will receive a competitive salary based on relevant nursing experience, aligned with the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' Enterprise Agreement.
