Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage global payroll function, ensuring timely and accurate execution across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Lead a global payroll team, fostering collaboration and development opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and growth within the team, providing clear development paths and empowering members to innovate.
  • Lead key transformation projects, working closely with internal and external stakeholders for seamless execution.
  • Maintain relationships with outsourced payroll providers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Deliver reliable payroll information and analysis, supporting business decision-making and maintaining robust internal controls.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements, protecting employees and the company.
Requirements:
  • Able to communicate complex payroll situations clearly and concisely.
  • Detail-oriented, able to identify anomalies and validate data accuracy using reconciliations and cross-checks.
  • Proactive stakeholder manager, adopting a business partner mindset.
  • Highly organised, skilled at creating structure and clarity amid ambiguity.
  • A problem solver with a 'can-do' attitude, developing practical solutions.
  • A people manager who enjoys coaching and developing team members.
Experience:
  • 10+ years' experience in payroll roles, with exposure to multi-jurisdiction payrolls.
  • Deep familiarity with payroll compliance regimes in APAC, North America, and EMEA.
  • Experience in successfully leading or being a key member of payroll transformation project(s).
  • Experience working in hyper-growth environments and adapting payroll functions to scale rapidly.
