The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-level technical direction, support, and advice to maintain an adequate level of protection for ICT systems, services, hardware & infrastructure, software applications, and information assets.

They will lead incident response and management, provide threat and vulnerability management, conduct threat and risk assessments, develop and implement the organisation's cybersecurity framework, and create security awareness training for employees.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and possess a working knowledge of QLD Government IS18 policy, ASD Essential 8, and NIST Cyber Security Framework.
