**Job Opportunity:** Master Control Specialist

Nine's Network Control team is seeking a skilled technical operations specialist to manage the coordination and technical supervision of live signal transmissions.

This high-energy role involves ensuring the seamless operation of the Network Control Room, delivering high-quality signal transmission services to support Nine's programming and productions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate broadcast equipment and manage complex signal routing in a live environment
  • Support internal and external productions, studios, and outside broadcasts
  • Execute scheduled and ad hoc bookings for signal transmission
  • Deliver technically accurate, error-free vision and audio signals
  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day functioning of the control room
  • Respond to breaking news and live event needs with agility and professionalism
  • Work effectively in a shift-based team environment

Requirements:

  • Strong computer literacy
  • Adaptability with technical systems and environments
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure in live broadcast settings
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Operational experience in a technical or broadcast role
  • Familiarity with production procedures and broadcast equipment
  • Knowledge of television transmission workflows and precision measuring instruments
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
