**Description**:
THE ROLE
As a Master Data Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our master data management processes. This role will be focussing on Mulpha's promotional businesses, The Signal Group.
The Signal Group is recognised as one of Australia's largest staff identification and branded merchandise providers. We work closely with our clients to develop customised products to showcase the full potential of their brands.
Working closely with the management and sales teams, your job will be to ensure a smooth transition of data and business processes to the new SaaS platform Cin7.
This role will require a thorough understanding the inventory, sales, and production processes as well as a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a strong commitment to data quality.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Be the Cin7 champion of the business.
- Implement, maintain the master data records in Cin7's system, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures to proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies, anomalies, and integrity issues.
- Continuously assess and improve master data management processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency, productivity, and data quality.
- Develop training materials, documentation, and guidelines to educate users on master data management best practices, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, operations, finance, sales, and marketing teams, to understand data requirements, address data-related challenges, and support business objectives.
- Provide ongoing support to address user questions and concerns.
- Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Perform data analysis and generate reports to assess data quality, identify trends, and provide insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Degree, Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Computer Science or IT or related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Meticulous mindset with a focus on data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent documentation skills & strong time management
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Cin7, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Pronto) and/or Relevant certifications in data management (e.g., CDMP, DAMA) highly desirable.
