Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out electrical installations, repairs and maintenance on traffic signals and ITS
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with traffic signal systems and components
  • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and tasks
  • Liasing with relevant authorities and stakeholders to coordinate work activities
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards and regulations
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Unrestricted Electrician's Licence
  • Extensive experience working on traffic signal and road infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring diagrams and traffic signal systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
