Mental Health Therapy Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and skilled mental health therapy team leader to lead and deliver exceptional mental health services.

  • Provide management and supervision to a multidisciplinary clinical team, ensuring high-quality patient care and promoting continuous quality improvement.
  • Lead and promote the delivery of excellent mental health services by identifying and addressing barriers to effective care, in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  • Support the recruitment and on-boarding of clinical staff, providing training, professional development, and supervision for clinical team members.
  • Deliver therapeutic services to patients with a broad range of psychopathology, working collaboratively with psychiatrists, allied health clinicians, and leaders.
  • Attend and contribute towards multidisciplinary team meetings, driving continuous improvement and excellence in mental health services.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in the mental health sector, holding appropriate recognised qualifications in psychology, occupational therapy, social work or mental health nursing. They must also demonstrate excellent organisational, time management and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously.

  • 10+ years of clinical experience in the mental health sector, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire clinical teams to achieve excellence.
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement, with a focus on delivering exceptional mental health services.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary based on years of relevant experience against the relevant enterprise agreement, reflecting their value to the organisation.
