Lead Oncology Nursing Team Member

As a seasoned registered nurse with extensive experience in Oncology, you will have the opportunity to take on a challenging and rewarding role as a leader in our team.

  • Supervise nursing practice and ensure high standards of care are maintained through effective leadership and mentoring.
  • Conduct regular reviews and coordinate care for patients with complex health problems, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Act as a patient advocate, safeguarding rights and safety at all times by making informed decisions and communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, promoting best practices and quality care.
  • Provide education and training to junior staff members, enhancing their knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Regularly monitor diagnostic results and report abnormalities, ensuring timely interventions and optimal patient outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to develop relationships and work collaboratively within a team.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Extensive clinical experience in Oncology
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and teams
