Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse Position">

We are seeking highly skilled Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated Oncology team at Ballarat Hospital. This is a permanent full-time position, working 38 hours per week.

About the Role:

This role involves providing comprehensive patient care and supervision for Graduate Registered Nurses, Nursing Affiliates, and Nurse Students. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, documenting assessment findings, and implementing planned nursing interventions.

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform nursing functions based on your education preparation, knowledge, skills, understandings, and past experiences in nursing situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Interview and examine patients, documenting assessment findings.">
  • Routinely monitor the results of diagnostic procedures and investigations.">
  • Assist in assessing complicated nursing problems and guiding Graduate Nurses, Nursing Affiliates, and Nursing Students as needed.">
  • Prepare and care for patients receiving specialized treatments for which the nurse is appropriately prepared.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • ">
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.">
  • A minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in Oncology or Palliative Care.">
  • Well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills.">
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction.">
