About the RoleThis role is responsible for managing strategic relationships with major aggregators and their brokers who hold relationships and accreditations with ANZ. The National Partnerships Manager will ensure key relationships are enhanced, and synergies across the business are maximised to deliver strong business results.
The successful candidate will play a key role in guaranteeing ANZ's position and approach to the broker market is understood internally and externally. They will ensure ANZ has a clear understanding of the strategic direction of each major aggregator group and their on-boarding, monitoring, and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities- Present as a prominent industry representative of the ANZ Retail Broker department, including attendance and presentations at conferences, webinars, and within the media.
- Strategic relationship management of key aggregator accounts, including management of contractual agreements between aggregators and ANZ, as well as addressing complaints and escalations.
- Work in conjunction with State Managers and State Partnership Managers to ensure aggregator engagement plans in each state are consistent with the national strategy, ultimately driving business growth in line with Retail Broker's strategic direction.
- Collaborate and align on strategies with ANZ Commercial Broker, ensuring a co-ordinated and complementary approach to market.
- Manage budgets relating to partnership investment, travel, and entertainment expenditure, maximising return on investment from industry engagement.
- A customer-first mindset, balanced with deep analytical thinking and the ability to synthesise multiple sources of information to make sound decisions.
- Ability to communicate clearly and paint a compelling vision to inspire teams, stakeholders, partners, and collaborators.
- Understanding of the regulatory and government environment.
- Strong leadership capability to shape diverse teams and motivate others, anchoring your approach in ANZ's values and leadership behaviours.
- Strong presentation and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to develop and maintain circles of influence (COI).
- Potential to grow as a leader and willingness to invest in your own development.
- Significant experience leading business development and sales on a large scale and a demonstrated understanding of the commercial drivers of success.
