Job Title:

Ambitious Meat Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous meat specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting equipment, sanitizing displays, rotating stock, wrapping meat products, labeling and applying labels to products, stocking wrapped and labelled meat in display cases, operating a meat grinder, checking fat content of batches, cleaning and sanitizing areas throughout the day, and performing routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.

Daily Tasks:
  • Inspect and reassemble equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Sanitize displays and rotate stock to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Wrap meat products using safety and security procedures.
  • Label and apply labels to products accurately and efficiently.
  • Stock wrapped and labelled meat in display cases to ensure maximum visibility and appeal.
  • Operate a meat grinder and check fat content of batches to maintain quality standards.
  • Clean and sanitize areas throughout the day to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency.
