Meat Processing Specialist

Are you a skilled and motivated individual looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Meat Processing Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of meats, operating machinery, preparing meat for slicing, and assisting other sections to meet daily orders efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Meat: Perform physical tasks such as slicing, cutting, and trimming meat to meet customer requirements.
  • Processing: Operate machines, pack meat, and sort orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensuring Food Safety and Work Safety: Prioritize candidates who understand the importance of maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to food safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks in a cold environment.
  • Knowledge of Meat Cuts: Familiarity with different types of meat cuts, including beef, pork, and lamb.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Understanding of HACCP principles and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Accountability: Punctuality, reliability, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
