Job Opportunity: Meat Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate meat specialist to be an integral part of our operation.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality meat products and exceptional customer service to valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertly cut, prepare, and package a variety of meat products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, offering product recommendations and advice to ensure customers' needs are met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the butchery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified butcher, with a deep understanding of meat cutting and preparation techniques.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide personalized recommendations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts.

Work Arrangements:

  • Full-time and part-time positions available.
  • 15 - 38 hours per week.
  • 8 hour shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Butchery experience: 1 year (preferred).
  • Work authorization in Australia (preferred).
