Senior Technical Leader

As a senior technical leader, you will drive impactful projects and make your mark in a collaborative environment. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our civil design team and oversee the development of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans and manage budgets to ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee the UD design and drafting program to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead civil design, including earthworks, drainage, car parks, roads, pavements, and utilities for various projects.
  • Coordinate design with architects, landscape architects, and engineers at project meetings to achieve common goals.
  • Manage technical reviews and internal QA processes to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Undertake project management, bid support, and leadership duties to drive project success.
  • Set department goals and develop actionable implementation plans to enhance engineering application processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Chartered Engineer status with NER accreditation for professional recognition.
  • 15+ years' experience in civil design for buildings, urban development, land development, or brownfield projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in civil design with knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes.
  • Understanding of brownfield projects, water environments, and water resource management for comprehensive project delivery.
  • Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, 12D, Drains, and Microsoft Project for efficient project execution.
  • Experience in QA processes and design reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
