Electrical Installation Specialist

We are seeking an Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team onsite.

The HumeLink project is a major transmission infrastructure development, which will significantly increase the capacity of the electricity network in Australia's eastern states.

The scope of works includes delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning ~140kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa and Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai. The substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains will be used for future connection to Snowy 2.0.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel;
  • Install electrical equipment such as switchboards, control panels, switchgear, fittings, cabling, earthing systems, and control systems;
  • Test and commission electrical systems;
  • Complete certification for completed works and issue a certificate of compliance;
Requirements
  • A QLD Electrical Licence;
  • A White Card;
  • LV Rescue and CPR qualifications;
  • Provide First Aid training;
  • High Risk Work Licence – Work Platform;
  • Working at Heights/Confined Spaces experience;
  • High risk work licenses for EWP, forklift or telehandler (Desirable);
  • A Drivers Licence;
  • Brownfields experience.
