Job Opportunity: Biomedical Electronics Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct electrical safety and performance testing of biomedical equipment in line with AS/NZS 3551:2012 standards.
  • Perform planned and corrective maintenance, calibration, and commissioning of medical devices, as well as decommissioning and disposal.
  • Provide technical support to clinical users and liaison with departments to coordinate maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records using an asset management system.
  • Participate in contractor management, documentation, and on-call service rosters as required.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Qualifications in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical fields.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a hospital or health sector environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills in medical electronics.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and database tools.
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across the region.
