First Nations Heart Health Senior Project Officer

This senior role plays a key part in delivering culturally safe and evidence-based heart health education and support to First Nations people in South Australia.
">- Project Delivery: Lead the delivery of the First Nations Heart Health Project South Australia, fostering strong connections and partnerships to promote better health outcomes for First Nations individuals.
- Culturally Appropriate Resources: Develop and deliver culturally appropriate resources, education, and training to promote First Nations health and well-being.
- Key Reports: Prepare and present key reports both internally and externally to stakeholders.
- Qualifications: A degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience. Knowledge or experience in community development or health-related fields is desirable, with a lived experience advantage.
- Skills: Demonstrated program and project planning and management skills, understanding of issues, enablers, and barriers relating to First Nations Health.
- Cultural Understanding: Strong cultural understanding and sensitivity, with experience working directly with First Nations communities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver training and education resources for communities or professional audiences.
- Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to communities across South Australia, with potential interstate travel.
