Senior Project Officer

Heart disease is a leading cause of death in Australia, with 50 Australians losing their lives every day. The need to reduce this number has driven organizations to make a difference.
This role will play a key part in providing culturally safe and evidence-based heart health education and support for First Nations people in South Australia.
The successful candidate will work flexibly to deliver the project by blending time between home and Adelaide office.
- Develop and deliver culturally appropriate resources and training to promote better health outcomes for First Nations people.
- Prepare and deliver key reports internally and to stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across internal functions and external partners to integrate research into programs and activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a health-related field, knowledge of community development, or related fields. They will also possess skills in program and project planning and management.
They will have understanding of issues relating to First Nations Health, cultural sensitivity, and ability to travel to communities across South Australia.
