Patient Financial Advocate

As a Liaison Officer, you will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide expert guidance on financial options.
About the Role- Key responsibilities include fostering effective relationships with stakeholders, providing customer-focused information in relation to patient financial options.
- You will support patients and staff in making informed decisions about patient election choices, maximising revenue through fee payments, and ensuring admitted patient financial records are complete and compliant with relevant policies and procedures.
This role requires an in-depth understanding of healthcare financing arrangements within the Australian system.
Requirements- Relevant experience in a revenue, finance, or similar position in a hospital setting, with demonstrated ability to meet revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, including high-level advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to deal sensitively and professionally with patients, their families, other staff, and stakeholders involved in the financial case management process.
A strong advocate for patients' financial interests, you will work closely with patients and staff to ensure timely resolution of financial matters and optimal revenue outcomes.
