We are seeking a talented Senior Executive Chef to join our team in Sydney.

Estimated Salary:$80,000 - $110,000 per annum

Job Description
  • To demonstrate the 'Passion for Excellence' by serving our guests with flair and professionalism, ensuring their requests are quickly and efficiently achieved.
  • To provide personalised service and achieve the 'Essence of Pleasure' for every guest.
  • To embody the art of French hospitality through a positive attitude.
  • To perform tasks within a timely manner.
  • To maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
  • To assist other departments as needed and maintain good working relationships.
  • To report maintenance and hygiene issues promptly.
  • To assist senior chefs with menu preparation and ensure adequate supplies are available for service.
Requirements
  • A qualification in Commercial Cookery.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A professional appearance representing Sofitel's brand.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
  • A genuine passion for gastronomy.
  • A working understanding of food safety standards and HACCP.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
