ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are seeking a motivated and proactive Logistics Support professional to oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations while ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Understand and adhere to OH&S policies and procedures.
  • Manage all distribution center (DC) inbound and outbound transport activities.
  • Safely execute the loading and unloading of vehicles.
  • Engage with drivers, retail locations, and support teams to guarantee timely deliveries.
  • Track delivery timelines and maintain accurate transportation records.
  • Coordinate scheduling for pickups and deliveries, collaborating with suppliers and freight forwarders.
  • Work with transport providers to address any delivery-related inquiries or challenges.
  • Select and book the most efficient transport services for deliveries and inventory transfers.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure precise documentation and freight data management to support transportation and budgeting efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the DC Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:
  • Previous experience in a logistics or similar role.
  • Valid forklift operator license.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain safety standards.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
WORKING HOURS:

This position operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
