Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Field Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work in the field, providing technical services to customers and promoting products and services.

The Mechanical Field Specialist will be responsible for performing mechanical service work in the field, evaluating equipment and machine component failures, and promoting products and services to customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on mechanical service work to customers in the field.
  • Evaluate equipment and machine component failures, identify root causes, and provide recommendations for repairs or replacements.
  • Promote products and services to customers, including OEM spare parts and wears material components.
  • Supervise and oversee field service projects on customer sites, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
  • Prepare post-site reports, time sheets, and expenses after site visits.
  • Support quotation work by providing scope of work, initial planning, and costing information.
Requirements:
  • A Mechanical trade qualification from college or technical school, or three to six years of related experience and/or training.
  • Experience in the Mining industries working with Grinding Mills, Flotation, and Thickeners.
  • Task experience in drive line installation and alignment, gearbox replacement, and basic rigging and dogging understanding.
  • Basic computer literacy in MS Office - Word and Excel.
  • A current motor vehicle license and passport.
  • The ability to pass random medical and drug tests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to travel within short notice.
  • Experience in the usage of databases and MS Project.
