Job Title: Service Support Supervisor

This role is a full-time position that requires flexibility, including condensed working weeks and flexible start/finish times. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience in a mechanical workshop or field service environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for participating in operational meetings to stay up-to-date on contract issues, ensuring commercial compliance, and liaising with Contract Specialists to escalate and complete actions in a timely manner.

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to manage and close daily parts and service-related issues is also a key aspect of this role. Additionally, the candidate will work with service contract Central Planners to support planning activities.

To be successful in this position, you will need to possess strong communication skills, a positive and proactive outlook, and excellent interpersonal skills. You will also require a sound understanding of the mining industry and its business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in operational meetings to remain abreast of contract issues
  • Evaluate and drive commercial compliance
  • Liaise with Contract Specialists to ensure timely completion of actions
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage and close daily parts and service-related issues
  • Support contracted planning activities with service contract Central Planners
  • Recruit, train, develop, motivate, and lead team members
  • Ensure statutory requirements and approvals are met as per standards and customer requirements
  • Provide effective communication between site-based personnel and other areas of the business
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a mechanical workshop or field service environment
  • Trade qualifications in a mechanical discipline (minimum 5 years post-trade experience)
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Business (Front Line Management) would be an advantage
  • A strong EHS management culture and a drive to achieve company targets and goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A sound understanding of the mining industry and its business processes
