Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the portfolio of leased properties, including forward planning and execution of new facilities.
  • Maintain facilities according to lease obligations, statutory maintenance, and safety/environment legislative requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related inquiries, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Oversee building services and maintenance across facilities, including routine maintenance, statutory regulations, and lease obligations.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, maintenance arrangements, and asset registers.
  • Supervise 'soft services' such as cleaning, catering, waste and recycling management, landscaping, and pest control, including contractor management, reporting, and service performance monitoring.
  • Lead projects including capital works, fit out, and refurbishments.
  • Manage applicable contractors and external consultants.

The ideal candidate will possess qualifications in facilities management, business administration, or related fields. They must have demonstrated experience in facilities management, specifically in managing 'soft services.' The candidate should also have strong knowledge and experience in building operations and facilities and asset maintenance. Additionally, they should have significant experience and knowledge of contemporary facilities management practices, facilities operations, contracts management, health and safety practices in the workplace.
