The Town of Victoria Park seeks a highly motivated and suitably experienced Ranger to join its Parking and Rangers team in a full-time permanent capacity. This position involves enforcing Council's Local Laws and various legislative requirements relating to animals, litter, and bushfire control.

To be successful, the ideal candidate will have completion of or progression towards a Regulatory Officer Compliance Skills (ROCS) 1 and 2. Excellent communication, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are also essential. The candidate should have dog and cat management experience including dog attack investigation, impoundments, and issuing infringements.

In addition, the ability to interpret and apply legislation is crucial. The candidate must demonstrate their ability to effectively work within a team and customer focus. Intermediate technology and computer literacy are also required.

  • Completion of or progression towards a Regulatory Officer Compliance Skills (ROCS) 1 and 2

  • Capacity to interpret and apply legislation
