We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to the business, managing and mentoring engineers and drafters, and coordinating resources to execute work on time and within quality standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to take on a key role in the company's growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate resources to execute work on time, within budget & quality standards
- Manage and mentor engineers and drafters
- Provide technical support and guidance to the business
- Coordinate and manage higher-level projects
- Manage clients, including some business development functions
- Impeccable verbal, interpersonal & written communication skills
- High-level technical ability in structural design in materials handling
- Bulk materials handling experience (shiploaders, stacker/reclaimers)
- FEA modeling experience e.g., Strand7 and Space Gass
- Ability to lead and manage engineering teams
- Ability to develop new and foster existing client relationships
- Hold RPEQ and/or CPEng
- A competitive salary package ranging from $200k to $300k plus paid overtime on all hours
