Risk Insurance Claims Manager

This is an exciting chance to join a tight-knit team as a Claims Consultant, working in the local government sector. The role involves managing a portfolio of claims end-to-end, attending to phone queries, writing settlements, qualifying claim eligibility, liaising with stakeholders, processing invoices, and data entry.
The ideal candidate will have experience in liability and general insurance, excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and organisational skills, and quality customer service skills. They should also be open to any lines of general insurance and ideally have liability or motor experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of claims end-to-end
- Attending to phone queries with regards to claims
- Writing settlements
- Qualifying claim eligibility and achieving conclusions
- Liaising with stakeholders
- Processing invoices
- Data entry & processing
Location: Woollahra
Hours: Monday - Friday
Salary: $30 - $35/hour + Superannuation
Requirements:
- Claims experience in liability and general insurance
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- High attention to detail & organisational skills
- Open to any lines of general insurance
- Liability or motor experience is ideal
- Quality customer service skills
